CoLab today announced it has ranked No. 23 in the “Technology Fast 50” category of Deloitte Canada’s 2026 Technology Fast 50™ program, recognizing the country’s fastest-growing technology companies. With revenue growth of 1,075% from 2022 to 2025, CoLab earned a place on the list for the second consecutive year, reflecting sustained momentum as manufacturers increasingly adopt AI to accelerate engineering decisions and improve product development.
Now in its 29th year, Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 program recognizes Canadian technology companies demonstrating exceptional revenue growth. This year’s cohort posted an average growth rate of 3,079%, up more than 450 percentage points from last year and above the 3,000% mark for the first time in recent years, raising the bar for companies to make the list.
“CoLab has reached a significant size and scale, and yet we continue to grow rapidly,” said Adam Keating, Co-Founder and CEO of CoLab. “In the last year, major AI contracts with global engineering organizations have contributed significantly to that growth. CoLab is uniquely positioned to help large companies adopt AI for engineering, because we are mature enough to drive impactful change management, while maintaining the agility of a high-growth startup.”
CoLab has grown to more than 250 employees and has raised $112 million (USD) in venture capital to date. Over the last year, the company has expanded its footprint among leading global manufacturers, signing a multi-year AI contract with Bombardier and a new global contract with Vestas, while also expanding its multi-year agreement with Schaeffler.
CoLab has also expanded its platform beyond mechanical CAD review to support broader engineering review. The company recently unveiled its vision for generative engineering with the release of generative artifacts, which help manufacturers capture, share and apply engineering knowledge at scale.
