Veteran CFOs David Clark and Matt Bulley strengthen the firm’s capabilities across growth, transformation and private equity

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Maximus Partners today announced that Matt Bulley and David Clark have joined the firm as Managing Directors in its CFO Advisory Practice.

Together, Bulley and Clark bring decades of experience as CFOs, operators and strategic advisors across private equity-backed, private and public companies. Their appointments deepen the hands-on leadership Maximus provides to organizations navigating growth, transformation, transactions and other periods of complexity.

Clark began working with Maximus in May, leading a large-scale CFO engagement for one of the firm’s private equity-backed clients. Following that successful engagement, he joins Maximus as a full-time member of the CFO Advisory leadership team.

Clark brings nearly four decades of experience spanning finance, operations, private equity and capital markets. He has served as CFO of SunCom Wireless, Synchronoss Technologies, The Meet Group, Nutrisystem, Claymont Steel and Spark Networks. In recent years, he served as Operating Partner for Northmark Strategies and as Managing Director of Portfolio Operations for Centre Lane Partners.

He began his career in investment banking and capital markets at Citibank and later served as Managing Director in High Yield Capital Markets at Furman Selz. His combination of CFO, capital markets and private equity experience will help Maximus continue expanding its work across the private equity community.

Bulley brings more than 30 years of finance and accounting leadership experience, with an extensive track record of helping organizations scale and navigate transformation. He has served as CFO of Catalyx and ALL4, and as a Managing Director and CFO of Allied Resource Corporation and Puraglobe. Throughout his career, he has led the finance functions of complex multinational organizations through acquisitions, integrations, private equity transactions, financing initiatives, international expansion, systems implementations and significant periods of growth.

Bulley began his career with PwC and subsequently held finance leadership roles at Comcast, Planalytics and Exelon. His combination of deep technical finance expertise and hands-on operating experience further strengthens Maximus’s ability to help clients build the financial and operational infrastructure required to scale.
