K Group Companies Promotes Jake Kuncaitis to Chief Business Development Officer

Longtime leader to drive strategic growth, expand K Group’s national footprint and strengthen sales leadership.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, UNITED STATES, November 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — K Group Companies has promoted Jake Kuncaitis to Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), effective immediately.

As CBDO, Kuncaitis will lead business development across K Group’s IT, operational technology, business technology and physical security teams. Kuncaitis will focus on strategic accounts, strengthening key relationships and helping shape K Group’s long-term growth strategy. He will report to Wes Baird III, Chief Operating Officer, and work closely with Ben Kuncaitis, Senior Partner, and the sales team to align growth efforts across the company.

Kuncaitis began his career at K Group more than 18 years ago as a Level 1 Field Service Technician. He advanced through roles in field systems and project management before leading the physical security team as Project Manager and Team Lead. In April 2025, he joined the Senior Leadership Team as Vice President of Physical Security Sales. In that role, he helped drive significant revenue growth while strengthening the team’s structure and operational processes.

In his new role, Kuncaitis will focus on strengthening K Group’s business development capabilities and positioning the company for continued growth. His priorities will include:

– Expanding K Group’s national footprint by identifying new markets, cultivating strategic relationships and creating opportunities beyond the company’s current geographic reach.
– Building a scalable sales leadership structure by empowering the sales manager to oversee day-to-day team operations, coaching and performance.
– Tripling the size of the sales team to expand market coverage, deepen customer engagement and support growth across K Group’s business lines.
